Bike It

Bike It is a project from Sustrans working to increase the number of kids cycling to school. Working with staff, pupils and parents we use fun events like bike breakfasts, cycle to school days, competitions and lots more to increase awareness and get people on bikes!

We want people to benefit from cycling- it keeps you fit and healthy, it reduces pollution and it’s a fun and less stressful way to travel for kids and adults. Its also about improving the school environment- less cars outside the school makes it easier for everyone to get into school more safely and reduces the amount of fumes children and adults are exposed to outside the school We want to give kids the skills and confidence to use their bikes, to make them more independent, fit and healthier.

Bike It works in the following schools in Aylesbury. Some schools have achieved Bronze school status [B], showing their commitment to cycling to school.  Is your child's school on the list below? Click on the name to open the schools' website.
