The Big Pedal is a “virtual bike race” from Sustrans running from 7th to 26th March 2011. This really simple and FREE to enter, UK wide cycle-to-school competition has daily, regional and national prizes including Cyclepod cycle storage, two Land Rover bikes and a jaw-dropping stunt display day with the M.A.D team at your school. In the past it’s just been for Bike It schools but this year it’s open to all schools.
Lots of schools in Buckinghamshire are taking part already but if you want to know more or to sign up visit the Big Pedal website. Your school can join in for the whole race or just enter sections but there are lots of prizes to win and remember every cycle journey counts!
